(A4 landscape perfect bound book) £8.75 To order... Item code: WBP-034 80 pages ISMN-13: 979-0-9002381-9-1 ________________________________________________________ This book contains a collection of worksheets to help piano beginners to learn about how music works and also to develop various coordination skills required for piano playing through various activities; finding heartbeat in music, developing a sense of a steady pulse, understanding basic tempi, feeling subdivided beats, discovering how rhythm works in songs, training the eyes to recognise patterns in melodies, understanding note values and metres, learning to compose rhythms with a given time signature, etc. In my piano studio, I've been using this book for my 5 to 10+ years old beginners at various stages of their piano learning to help them grasp the elements of music in a practical way. The book is suited for young learners with creative minds (including older students who are naturally 'visual' learners). Resources: An A4 sheet of rhythm puzzle pieces can be accessed with a password for those who purchased the workbook. ________________________________________________________ Here're some video clips showing how this book is used: Beat tapping exercise, p.17 Feel the Pulse (piano duet), op.33

An example of a creative use for a finished worksheet (p.69):
